This specification incorporates the subject criteria for psychology as approved by QCA, which is mandatory for all awarding bodies.
The AS units cover the core approaches identified within the subject criteria and students are required to conduct a data-gathering exercise. The GCE Advanced units (A2) allow the student to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills in the context of applications of psychology.
